TEDxSMMMSchool — First Bangla Medium School to Host TEDx
SMMM School proudly hosted TEDxSMMMSchool on March 9, 2024, becoming the first Bangla medium school in Bangladesh to organize a TEDx program.
SMMM School celebrated its annual Fruit Festival with great enthusiasm and participation. The vibrant event showcased the diversity of fruits available in our region, featuring stalls with mangoes, watermelons, papayas, bananas, and various tropical fruits. Students explored different varieties, learned about nutritional benefits, and enjoyed fresh fruit samples while celebrating nature’s abundance.
The festival served as both an educational and recreational activity, with competitions for fruit decoration, fruit arrangement, and taste challenges that engaged students across all grades. Parents also contributed homemade fruit-based dishes and beverages, creating a festive atmosphere that highlighted the importance of healthy eating habits. The colorful displays and joyful participation made the Fruit Festival 2023 a memorable event that reinforced our commitment to student wellness and environmental appreciation.
