Fruit Festival 2023
A celebration of nature's bountiful gifts with vibrant colors and fruits at our annual Fruit Festival.
On March 9, 2024, SMMM School made history by hosting TEDxSMMMSchool, becoming the first Bangla medium school in Bangladesh to organize a TEDx program. This remarkable event brought together educators, innovators, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders to share ideas worth spreading in the Bengali language. The program showcased the power of local knowledge and the importance of telling our stories in our own voice.
The event featured inspiring talks from various speakers who addressed critical topics including social entrepreneurship, educational innovation, environmental sustainability, and youth empowerment. Students had the opportunity to interact with successful entrepreneurs and changemakers, gaining insights into how ideas can be transformed into tangible impact. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and curiosity as the audience engaged with each speaker’s unique perspective.
TEDxSMMMSchool represents our commitment to fostering critical thinking and encouraging our students to think beyond traditional boundaries. By hosting this program, we have demonstrated that Bangla medium education is equally capable of nurturing innovative minds and creating a platform for meaningful discourse. We are grateful to all speakers, volunteers, and participants who made this historic event possible and look forward to hosting future editions of TEDxSMMMSchool.
